By Jumah Kakomo
The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that it will hold a meeting tomorrow, December 3, 2025, with police officials and agents of presidential candidates.

According to EC spokesperson Julius Muchunguzi, the meeting aims to review the conduct of campaigns since they began on September 29, 2025. It will also address concerns raised by candidates and their agents, including issues related to security and access to campaign venues.

Scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Commission’s headquarters in Kampala, this will be the third such meeting since the start of the campaign period.

Muchunguzi emphasized the need for all stakeholders to adhere to electoral laws and regulations to ensure peaceful elections. He noted that the gathering demonstrates the Commission’s commitment to maintaining a transparent and orderly electoral process.

The meeting will be chaired by Justice Simon Byabakama, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
