As Uganda prepares for the 2026 general elections, the leader of Phaneroo Ministries International, Apostle Grace Lubega, has urged citizens to vote for leaders committed to serving the people rather than choosing candidates based on political party affiliations.

Apostle Lubega made the remarks during his end-of-year message and night of prayers held at the Phaneroo Ministries grounds in Kampala. Addressing thousands of believers, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing leadership qualities such as integrity, compassion, and service when casting votes.
He encouraged Ugandans to look beyond party colors and focus instead on the character, values, and track records of political candidates. “Vote for people who will serve you. Don’t vote for colours. Vote as you are led,” Apostle Lubega said, describing 2026 as “the year of the power of salvation.”

During the same gathering, Apostle Lubega called on believers to pray against corruption, which he described as a deeply rooted and systemic problem affecting multiple sectors of Ugandan society, including government, business, and the church.
In his prayer, he acknowledged the damaging impact of corruption on national development and asked for divine intervention to restore transparency and accountability across all sectors. He also prayed for leaders who would prioritize public service over personal gain.

According to Apostle Lubega, the call to prayer is part of a broader effort to promote good governance and accountability in the country. He emphasized that spiritual revival and moral renewal are essential for Uganda’s long-term development and prosperity.
The preacher further shared a message of hope, telling believers that 2026 represents a significant opportunity for the manifestation of God’s power in their lives. He encouraged them to trust in God’s plan, live in obedience to His word, and remain faithful, believing that such commitment would lead to transformation and breakthroughs.
