Parliament of Uganda is set to interact with the presidential nominees on the Ugandan Human Rights commission board on Wednesday this week.
According to the scheduled meeting communicated by the Clerk to parliament Hon. Adolf Mwesigye Kasaija to the members of the parliament’s appointment committee, they will start with Wangandya Mariam who was appointed the commission’s chairperson by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The committee will also interact with those nominated by president Museveni as members who include the former National Coordinator for now indefinitely suspended Citizens Coalition for Electoral Democracy (CCEDU) Chrispin Kaheru and former Democratic Party diehard and former Kampala Capital City Authority councilor Shifra Lukwago.

Others nominated by the president is former Ethic and integrity minister Fr. Simon Lukodo and Ms. Atuheire Jacklet
