National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretary General Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba has gone into self-quarantine after getting into contact with three of his handlers from the party secretariat.
The news has been confirmed by her press statement which has been widely shared on social media.
In the statement, she revealed that she was advised by scientists to self-quarantine however, it will not stop the campaign mobilization and coordination.
“I have taken advice from our scientists to immediately enter into self – quarantine as precautionary measure, while I wait for results of the rapid test I have had to take.
All the campaign mobilization and coordination activities at the National Resistance Movement secretariat will continue normally” reads the statement.
The news comes at a time when Ministry of Health confirmed 314 new COVID19 cases from tests done on the 29, November 2020 bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 20,459. Meanwhile, today President Museveni is expected to commission Bumbobi – Lwhakhakha road, Officiate at the opening of Busia market, meet leaders in Busia district and address the public in a radio program
