National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has lashed at government for buying guns, teargas and other related weapons as opposed to investing the health care system.
Bobi wine who was campaigning in the areas of Maracha, Koboko and Yumbe were he addressed overwhelming numbers of people, he criticized government misusing money meant to fight corona virus.
“Even when we are supposed to be fighting corona virus, government is fighting corona virus with guns, even when we are supposed to be fighting corona virus government is buying more tear gas, guns, patrol cars than equipping the hospitals that’s the Uganda we are leaving in “ said bobi wine.
Its on the above note that Bobi wine promised to prioritize the health care system and people’s wellbeing that fighting weapons.
“As soon as am president all police officer’s bills will be risen, ministers will be chosen not according to their tribes but according to their credibility. Instead of buying teargas we shall be buying drugs in the hospitals, our medical workers will be paid well and on time.” Said Bobi wine.
