Uganda ready to host African heritage city, speaker among.

The Speaker of Parliament Anita Among says Uganda is ready to host the African Civilization Heritage city, a proposed project that seeks to develop an African Heritage City to promote all the 55 African Nations.

Speaking during a meeting With Dr Joseph Tonye Brown, the founder and President of Atlantic Victoria Foundation, the entity behind the initiative.

The Project seeks to create a centre to develop African Human and material resources, cross border investments and African trade and investment by Africans for Africans in Africa.

“Uganda is the most beautiful country and is more than ready to host this City because of its stand on Pan Africanism, the friendliness of our people and the strategic leadership of the country that looks at the greater good for the African people ” She added.

The project is backed by the African Union Commission.

Dr Joseph Tonye thanked the Speaker for her support and prayed for God’s guidance on her as she leads the institution of Parliament and serves the nation.

The speaker gifted her guest with a book that profiles Uganda and asked him to spend more time traversing the country to enjoy its beauty.
