In the epoch making sitting the Uganda Parliament decided to rescind the Vinci coffee agreement.
This was all due to the able leadership of Kabonera Member of parliament Hon.Abed Bwanika who because of his knowledge, experience, expertise and wisdom brought to light the existence of this foul agreement, which is unjust, disgusting with glaring inequities.
I thank all those MPs who stood their ground especially the NRM members who even in the caucus refused to back down in the presence of the all powerful owner of the agreement.

I strongly believe that Gen.Museveni is not about to back down on this and “Pinnet” (executive)is going to mobilize some money , threaten some few MPs, change some few words in the agreement and a few MPs will go to the bank smiling and coffee will have to go no matter what.
The noble thing is, history will absolve the Parliament because you’ve done your part and the sinister motive of government has been exposed and registered.
I also thank those MPs who don’t know what’s happening but pay TV news anchors and atleast say something on camera in corridors and parliament verandas! You’re covered and thank you for following.
Now that all tenets of good leadership, responsibility and care by government are out of the window and the country is flying on auto pilot mode I call upon Ugandans to brace yourselves for a bleaker future.
I obviously envy the Congolese people of Beni enjoying the new tarmac roads by Dott services paid by Uganda tax payers and sympathise with the people of greater Luwero who traverse impassable roads and wonder how memories fade.
80 km of road can come from Zirobwe to wobulenzi up to Kapeeka, then from Luwero to Butalangu, and maybe the supplementaries of the phony operation Shujaa can fix Luwero to bamugolodde in Nakasongola or Bombo to Kalasa but it’s a shame our people died, sacrificed their all to help those of Congo!
It pains to know We failed to have ample education for the benefit of those in Congo!
Just 2 kms from Luwero we have no electricity for the last 60 years and counting, but at least congo has a tarmac road and soon will have power!
It pains Luwero has no medicine in hospital, no district headquarters and no school the quality of those in Tanzania but the Congolese are happy !
Pan Africanism means forgetting your own and looking after your neighbor’s people?
Congo is over 5 times larger than Uganda and many times richer in Natural resources, population and national wealth but it takes a poor country to go and construct roads in the rich man’s backyard!
Maybe it also makes sense for the poor Ugandans to pay fees for the rich Ugandans and hold them birthday parties.
Am praying every day to see our turn come after 36 years the people of Luwero to reap what we sowed.
Life is strange but it goes on.
