There was shock with in mourners and relatives when a husband and his wife died separately within a period of 36 hours .
The wife died after an attack while her husband followed thereafter.
Mr Kasule John died less than a day after the death of his wife, the late Mary Namazzi .they were both residents of Masajja in Makindye Ssabagabo municipality in Wakiso district.
The elderly couple had been fighting high blood pressure and diabetes for some time.
One of the relative told this website that two days before their demise, they had received strange visitors who looked like security agents asking about their exiled grandson, Mr Mugisa Ahmada Abraham.
“A neighbor said that the visitors had got a mind that Mr Mugisa was in the house to see his ailing parents to which they denied” she reported.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the sickness intensified after this incident especially the mother who was rushed to a healthy facility but died later.
It’s said, on learning about the death of his wife, Mr Kasule also got an attack and passed on. They were both laid to rest.
Mugisa is a Iraq veteran and worked in Afghanistan and Somalia before joining opposition NUP and FDC.
He has suffered multiple arrests, detention and torture and was at one time charged with murder related cases until he fled the country.
