More than 600 Senior Four and Senior Six candidates at Kakungulu Memorial School, Kibuli, have been urged to combine academic preparation with prayer and strong religious values as they prepare for their Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) examinations.

The candidates were encouraged to remain focused on their studies, maintain discipline and seek spiritual guidance from Allah, the source of wisdom and knowledge.
The message was delivered on Friday, October 9, 2026, by the Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Muhammad Galabuzi, during duwa prayers organised for the school’s S4 and S6 candidates.

Sheikh Galabuzi, who was accompanied by Sheikh Yasin Kiweewa, urged the candidates to seek spiritual nourishment and guidance from Almighty Allah as they prepare for the forthcoming national examinations.
He congratulated the students for dedicating their time to studying under the guidance of their teachers, saying they were now preparing to reap the benefits of their hard work.
“You have been prepared to pass, so remain focused and put your efforts into achieving good results,” he urged the candidates.

Sheikh Galabuzi also commended the Titular Head of Islam in Uganda, Dr Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu, for his leadership, which he said had contributed to the steady growth of quality education services for students in Uganda and beyond.
He emphasised the importance of maintaining religious values, noting that faith provides wisdom, guidance and tranquillity as students navigate their academic journeys.

In his remarks, Kakungulu Memorial School headmaster, Hajji Jamil Buwembo, thanked the Government for providing an enabling environment that has supported the expansion of the school’s infrastructure.
Buwembo pledged, on behalf of the school’s technical team and with the support of parents, to remain committed to achieving the institution’s educational goals and ensuring that students receive quality education.
He also called for continued cooperation among school administrators, teachers and parents to support the candidates as they prepare for their final examinations.
