The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has pledged to increase the agriculture budget on the national budget to 15% to enable the sector thrive again.
Bobi wine who was dressed in a red overall, jungle boots and a bullet proof made the remarks while campaigning in the areas of Namutuba, Kibuku, Budaka and Manafwa districts where he castigated the incumbent government for failing the agriculture sector.

Kyagulanyi said once he is entrusted with the highest office in the country, he will make sure that coffee growing thrives again in the Bugishu region and rice growing profits the locals of Namutumba and Kibuku district by making its market available and fully supporting sector.
As it has been the case on his trails, teargas didn’t miss out on his campaign trail in addition to being directed to campaign from the remote areas.

After the campaigns, Bobi wine took to his face book page and thanked his supporters for turning up his campaign rallies.
“Every once in a while, when I retire from a hectic day of campaigns, I look at pictures and videos taken on that day. Many times, I come across pictures and videos which give me that reassurance that WE ARE NOT WRONG. If you still had any doubt in the rightness of our cause, may you be encouraged by these senior citizens who are saying ENOUGH!” wrote bobi wine
