Musician Acidic Vokoz unveiled as Busoga Kingdom tourism ambassador

The Kyabazinga of Busoga Kingdom William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV has unveiled the Ndi musoga hit singer Acidic Vokoz alias Kakaire under the Mama Baba Entertainment led by a fellow Musoga tribe mate David Sembera alias Selecta Rizzon as the new kingdom tourism Ambassador.

The Acidic Vokoz milestone appointment was first announced by the Busoga Tourism and heritage minister Owek. Princess Hellen Namutamba before his official unveiling by the Kyabazinga on Saturday during the Kagulu Rock challenge in Buyende district which he attended as the chief climber.

Acidic Vokoz is one of the youngsters making history in the country with his good, hits and trending songs like Ndi Musoga in which he prides himself in being a Musoga by tribe before asserting that Busoga is the pearl of Uganda.

Other songs include: Nkulinako Crush, Future, okyusemu, siri safe and the latest one being Last Chance which is still topping Uganda’s Music chats.

The event was attended by thousands of people and several dignitaries who included among others the 1st Deputy Prime Minister Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga who urged the Basoga to refrain from selling off their land, noting that it is valuable and endowed with minerals.

Others included Members of Parliament Moses Magogo (Budiope East), Mary Nakato (Buyende District Woman MP), Steven Kisa (Luuka South), Jinja mayor Peter Kasolo, district chairpersons, Busoga Consortium boss Anthony Mula and Local Government undersecretary Benon Amagaza,
