Court orders UPDF to produce the man who canned president M7′ effigy

High Court in Kampala has on Friday afternoon issued a habeas corpus to Commander Makindye Military Baracks, UPDF CDF and Attorney General of Uganda to produce in court Luta Ferdinand who is detained incommunicado at Makindye Military barracks.

Luta was arrested on February 15, 2021 along Entebbe Road in Kampala for allegedly caning an effigy of president Yoweri Kaguta  Museveni over the rampant drone kidnaps and election rigging.

Justice Boniface Wamala ordered that Luta’s body be produced in the high court on 2rd, march, 2021 at 11am to undergo and receive all singular such matters and all things as court shall then and there consider things concerning him on his behalf. 

Luta Fernandind is also the Alternative Social Movement Operations Commander.
