The Unbeaten Express FC Visits UPDF FC at Bombo Stadium

The Star Times Uganda Premier League is back again in style with Match-Day 13. On Tuesday Evening the Unbeaten Express Fc will have to Travel to Bombo Stadium to visit the Newly promoted UPDF FC to secure their Unbeaten run.

Express’s Left back Arthur Kiggundu picked up a partial tear Ligament on his left leg during a 1-0 win over the struggling Busoga utd and he is ruled out for up to six weeks While Midfielder Charles Musiige is also doubtful.
UPDF FC under their head coach Kefa Kisala the former Express Boy and his Assistant Pius Ngabo seemed to have a fully fit Squad to face the on form Red Eagles.

Express have won three of the last six meetings against UPDF Fc (D1, L2)
The last game UPDF to host Express came in September 23/2017 and ended 1-0 in favor of the Army side, a goal scored by Midfielder Ezekiel Katende who is currently at Wakiso Giants.
Express have scored 6 goals in the last six meetings against UPDF Fc Conceding a Total of 5 goals in the period.


“The game won’t be easy because the opponents (UPDF) lost 6-1 to KCCA FC so they will want to come all out but we’ve prepared well Especially our finishing, we know we have to score more which we’ve worked on.” Express Head Coach Wasswa Bossa.
Express are the only unbeaten team in the league now where they’ve played 12 games winning 8 and Drawn 4.
Express win will take the team 4 points clear on the Top of the table waiting for Vipers Sc which will face the Record Champions 16 times Sc Villa at St. Mary’s Stadium tomorrow.
