The Confederation of African Football CAF Emergency Committee has cancelled the Total African Cup (AFCON) U17 that was to be hosted by Morocco.
The tournament was scheduled to run from 13th -31st March 2021 however the reason of the cancellation is yet to be given but it follows the cancellation of FIFA under 17 tournament.
According to Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) they are in plans to fly back Ugandan team.
“Uganda U17 team had already flown to Morocco for early preparations of the tournament.
FUFA will now make plans to fly the team back home.” wrote FUFA on their official Facebook page.
