Hajji BMK tentative burial program is out

The tentative burial program for the entrepreneur and tycoon Hajji Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige BMK has been released.

According to the tentative program BMK’s body will arrive on Saturday at 2:00pm on a chartered Plane from Nairobi while his burial is scheduled on Sunday 2.00pm  at Nkowe Cemetery

Hajji Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige, commonly known as BMK, was pdead on Friday morning at age of 67 years.

BMK has been a businessman, entrepreneur, proprietor of Hotel Africana and BMK group of companies.

According to a 2012 published report, BMK was one of the wealthiest people in Uganda.

In 1997, BMK started with the 40-room motel Hotel Africana on Kololo hill which grew into a four star establishment

Last year, he authored a book, “My Story of Building A Fortune in Africa” in which he chronicled his business journey from a coffee trader in Masaka to a respected businessman in Kampala and on the international stage.

He wrote that in 1982, during his would-be maiden business trip to Japan, he lost $52,000 approximately Shs190m after the briefcase was stolen at the airport.

Besides Hotel Africana, BMK also owns a chain of spare parts dealing outlets in Uganda, Dubai, Japan and Zambia.
