Mbarara Gas Explosion; names of the two deceased people revealed

Uganda Police Forces have finally identified the two people that lost their lives in an incident of gas explosion in Kisenyi Mbarara City.

According to the statement released by the Rwiizi region police spokesperson ASP Samson Kasasiira the deceased have been identified as Kasozi Kussein aged 19 years and Kisinde Baker aged 30 years.

In the same way, three people were left with serious injuries who include  Kamusiime Gashom and Tumwebaze John were admitted at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital for treatment.  

It’s alleged the explosion happened at a scrap metal shop where they were trying to cut the gas cylinder, it exploded, killing the two instantly.  

Police teams from Mbarara Central Police Station comprising of bomb experts, scene of crime officers, and homicide unit among others cordoned off the scene of crime and collected samples of the fragments dislodged from the exploded gas cylinder and also recovered two more gas cylinders from the workshop.
