Using Gen. Moses Ali is misuse

By Ndawula Ronald

When I was young we used to fetch water from Nabagaaya spring well.

At home we had an old bicycle which helped carry about 4 gerricans at a go. Many times this bicycle got broken but we didn’t have money to repair it. Then we stopped riding when the spikes were all broken and continued pushing water without riding.

Later On realizing the frame was broken, the tyres were all gone and there was no particular part that remained safe and intact we all decided to rest it.

Our guardian then told us to take the bicycle to the mechanic for repair and the man said, I advise you buy another one because you overused this bike to a point of misuse.

Watching Hon.Moses Ali gasping for breath during the election of Speaker of Uganda Uganda parliament, I sympathized with those, first who still elect him for being so cruel to him, secondly I was disappointed at the government who still appoint him Minister for being intolerant to the aged and lack of empathy.

I believe in my heart of hearts that the good old general is long past his usefulness and requires rest to prolong his life.

Pushing him in elections and demanding reports from him will only result into early retirement of his frail body and life.

I suppose when he dies on duty under the circumstances his death will rightly be attributed to those who demand service without due regard to his age and health status.

Hon Moses Ali we all believe and know has been an exceptional leader from west Nile and believe under him someone is available to take on his mantle either in his children, wives or relatives who can ably take on  this role with him playing an advisory one .

When you overuse someone to a point of misuse, then you’re selfish, lack empathy and lazy.

What kind of service do you really expect from a man who can’t even breathe normally?

Is it because we need NRM votes from west Nile,or some other agenda.

I call upon The people of Adjumani and Government to spare Gen Moses Ali for you will go down in history and charged as the most cruel, lazy, insensitive community for the disrespectful act of sending a tired man to represent you with the aim of killing him on duty.
