Kabaka departs to Europe for official duties

By Kabuye Ronald

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, has on Tuesday morning depart to Europe for official duties.

His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, who left Entebbe International Airport aboard KLM Airlines will use this trip to lure some European investors to invest in Uganda especially in Buganda Kingdom.

He has been seen off by the Katikkiro (Premier) of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga who noted that His Majesty will traverse different countries in Europe including Netherlands, UK and German.

“When the Kabaka travels out of the country he meets a number of Kingdom partners and we are presently engaged in many activities which are possible because we have built strong partnership with various organizations and institutions and the Kabaka has been instrumental in identifying a number of partners that the Kingdom works with. “ Said Katikiro

Katikiro Mayiga also revealed that the Kabaka may visit members of his medical team in addition to doing work related to Kabaka Foundation

The Kabaka is also going to do some work related to Kabaka foundation but like on previous occasion whenever he flies out for these kind of engagements he also gets time to visit some of the members of his medical team. I think even this time he will do it. We pray that he gets a safe flight and when the time for his return comes he comes back safely”
