FDC names candidate for Omoro County by elections

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has named Dick Denis Owani as their candidate for the Omoro county Member of Parliament by elections.

The FDC Chairperson for Omoro District Justin Obita Odong revealed that Owani was agreed upon after negotiations between Owani and another aspirant Terrence Odonga on Sunday in Omoro Town Council.

With gratitude Owani, said his focus is to revamp the agricultural sector in the Omoro district from peasantry to commercial and mechanized agriculture.

The FDC candidate Owani now awaits to run against the National Resistance Movement’s party candidate Andrew Ojok Oulanyah who is also the eldest son to the late speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah who was as well the area legislator.

The electoral commission set May 26 as the date for the elections in Omoro County
