After winning his Bantam weight title with a TKO in the first round to retain his East &Central Africa Boxing Union belt against Hajji Juma Mwalugo from Tanzania, Sgt Abdul Ssebute has presented his Title to some of the big bosses of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces.
Ssebute presented his Title to the Chief Education, Sports and Culture in UPDF Brig. Wilson Muhabuzi and the director of sports Col. John Ssemanda who applauded him for representing the army with grace and respect in addition to winning the title which he won not only for the army but the country at large.
Ssebute won the Title at the record breaking event that was attended by over 3000 people, the hugest number to attend a boxing event at Bombo Military Barrack playground.
This Event that was organized by Nara promotionz a boxing event organizing and promotion company took place on 8th, April 30, 2022.
