Ojasi Enterprises invests heavily in four Busoga region football clubs

Iganga’s business Man Hajji Ojasi Swaibu of Ojasi Enterprise has donated a number of jerseys sets and many other soccer equipment to support four community teams who are going to participate in the various Uganda football Leagues that are starting on Tuesday.

The three football teams that have been supported will participate both in the Regional League and Uganda cup and these include: Iganga young, Iganga United and Oh yes FC while Iganga Cooperate club will only play in the regional league.

While addressing the players of the four teams after a friendly match at saza grounds pitch, the president of Iganga cooperate club Mr Bogere Isima urged players to always take discipline as the most important factor which will drive them as tthey push their talent.

“What has ended talents of many of our boys here in the region is moral decay, this leaves out many teams with no sponsorship and perhaps no plans for higher progress. Today we are happy that God has brought to us hajji Ojasi who is to lead businessmen in town to start supporting football, let’s embrace this opportunity by keeping good relationship and being disciplined.”

Isima appreciated the people who have come on board to revamp sports in Busoga especially by giving them a hand but also appealed to well-wishers to help them in lobbying for trucks of sand to help level the saza ground football pitch to enable smooth running of their matches.

Hajji ojasi Swaib, a strong supporter and lover of sports said that football is a game that units many people mostly the youth and when given serious attention it can bring a lot of money which will transform lives of many people.

“if taken serious with determination, football can change lives of many youth just like we see western players, our youths have been lacking support and courage to help them reach their goals. As a sports man I have started my journey to support and am to bring other business men to support the sports sector” 

Hajji Ojasi that given said that since Iganga Municipal Council FC is to play in fourth division, efforts should be put in ensuring that it achieves its winning targets.

He advised the youth to abstain from acts that might lead to negative impacts on their career before appealing to coaches of different clubs with in Iganga to also show interests in bringing out the talents of the youth 

The Uganda league is starting today Tuesday 22rd/11/2022 with Oh yes Fc Vs Iganga young Fc at Iganga saza grounds .
