PM Nabbanja Commissions multibillion health facility, launches construction of two more facilities.

The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has commissioned Kasenyi Health Centre 111 in Kakindo Subcounty Kakumiro district worth 1.7bn shillings.

The Project with funding from UGIFT under Ministry of health is in line with government’s policy of ensuring that every Subcounty has a well-equipped health center 111.

Mawejje Andrew, the Chief Administrative Officer CAO of Kakumiro district said that the health facility will enhance immunization, antenatal care, health education services among others.

The Prime Minister Nabbanja called upon the community to embrace preventive services as opposed to curative.

Nabbanja also launched the construction works for Mukoora and Kikwaya HC111s at a tune of over 1.7billion shillings.

Both functions were witnessed by the Transport state Minister Fred Byamukama, MP Bugangaizi East Agaba Aisa, Resident District Commissioner Rtd Major Matovu, and Kakumiro district local government officials headed by the LCV Chairperson Ssentayi Joseph Among others.
