With only two days left to the NRM’s liberation day celebrations to be held in Kakumiro this Thursday 26th January 2023, preparations have gained momentum with multiple activities ongoing.
Today Finance Minister Matia Kasaija and Ruth Nankabirwa Minister for energy and mineral development joined the Prime Minister who doubles as the area Woman MP Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah to check on the progress.
After visiting Kakeeka grounds the planned venue and the NRM Administration block one of the projects to be commissioned, the Ministers appreciate the arrangements.
The 37th NRM Liberation day shall be celebrated under the theme “Our resolute effort to transform Uganda is a promise we shall fulfill”
President Museveni who doubles as the Chairman NRM will be the Chief Guest.
Commissioning Kakumiro Nalweyo Road, Kakumiro administration block and hand over of land titles are some of the days activities.
