BIOGRAPHY
As a committed artist with active lyrics, Francois DJADOO alias Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis showed up as the spokesman of the voiceless one through his music. Mostly known as Jad Fozis, his footprint on the national and international music is remarkable.
Born and grew up in Lomé in the 1980s’, Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis is a passionate of music, and has a great affection for the rock and roll. This passion led him to join many orchestras. Because of his commitment, the artist left Togo in the mid 90s’ to fully launch his career. Five years later, he released SOS AFRICA, his first album.

Backed by the success of this first opus with the public, the reggae man became unstoppable. He successively released 6 albums throughout the years. He represented his country Togo at UNESCO “Peace Prize”, because of the message of peace and freedom he preaches for in his lyrics. He was made known thanks to his tours in Africa, Europe and United States.
Today, Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis, is no doubt among the most accomplished music artists and interpreters of his generation.
It is backed by this conviction, that the winner of the “Prix de mérite aux Heroes 2019” in Togo confirmed his return with the title “Atta”, a new album, as committed as the previous one. By the way, we notice the collaboration on this album of the Rap Artist and activist the Warrior Elom Vince and the hope of Togolese reggae music Djo KUASSI. The album is already available.

CAREER
Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis released his first album in 1995 with a revealing title: SOS Africa. Very appreciated in Togo and in West Africa, the album enjoyed the music lovers in Cotonou, Ouagadougou and even in Abidjan. It contained a song called Masto, which Togolese quickly renamed Gbekuia, a
real call for help sent to the youth of his country, addicted to cannabis and narcotic drug.

In Paris, radio stations invited Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis to their peak listening programs like the one hosted by Felix Mandon on Africa N°1 in Paris. The young artist took off and met the most famous of African singers, mainly Papa Wemba etc.. He played with the Jamaican group “The lion”, based in Hambourg and shared the same stage with Duncan Fulton, an English singer.
At the local level, Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis multiplied his contacts with the young Togolese singers like M. Tall T., Olla Lade et Oro Bello with whom he participated in one of his songs ‘Imagine’, but also meeting with his seniors like Jimi Hope, Joe Kiki, Amta Kole, Julie Akofa Akoussa, Fifi Rafiatou.
After the great success of SOS Africa, the artist was expected for his second album. For Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis, it is all about confirming the confidence entrusted to him by the music world. This expectation was not disappointed since, in 1997, he released his second album ‘Ntifafa’ (Peace) An ode to love in which, Jad ‘cries for peace’ in the eponymous title. He organized a music concert in Germany, followed by a tour in Paris to promote the album. Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis has increasingly become attractive to the music lovers. He was invited by Claudy Siar in the radio
program Couleur Tropical on RFI. With this confirmation, Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis, can take a deep breath and deepens his message which was becoming more inherent and intimate. The artist then started to peer at what his society was doing.
The result of this self introspection gave birth to the album entitled HERITIER in 1999.

With three albums in his discography, Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis left in order to conquer Germany, his adoptive country and other counties of Europe. The tour lasted a year. The artist has chosen the year 2002 to rest a little, reflect and work on his fourth album ‘Ca Parle’, in which we find the nice song ‘Nougblega’ and the dedication to his daughter ‘Kerstin’; it was released in the year 2001 including a tour in Africa with his team Vanity System. In the same year, he represented Togo at UNESCO for the Peace Prize.
Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis, took more time to release his 5 th album PARDON in 2006. On this album, the artist continued his pursue of wisdom and questioned himself about life issues.
The Death subject mentioned in the previous albums came back (Amekuku) as well as ‘destiny’. But he also expresses hope that gives life and the sacrifices to input in order to succeed in life.

The great hit AKONGOVI is to be remembered. It was a near autobiographic song in which all the single children found themselves. Like the other songs of Jad Fozis, the album PARDON was also a successful one.
Nevertheless, the artist became less prolific than ten years ago. 7 years were needed for Jad Fozis in order to offer a new pancake to his music lovers and fans who have being following him since the beginning of his career.

In the summer 2013, the 6 th album, ELAVAGNON, of Togbe Agbodjan Jad Fozis, was released.
In the lyrics and the philosophy of the artist, nothing has changed. He remained the same, the one who has his people in mind; people mistreated by the politicians, (On the behalf of my people), the one who always believed in a better future ‘Elavanyo’ and who showed a helping hand to the young one (Master Poppa over the song ‘Agbea le Séssin and Ethane over the song ‘Pastor Bubuto’)
