The NRM United Kingdom Chapter and Ireland Branch met with Premier Emeritus, who doubles as African Global Security Foundation Chairperson, Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi, at the Uganda High Commission, London, and delivered to him ‘Get Well Soon’ messages from community members.
On his part, the Ex-Premier thanked all Ugandan diasporas for the kind & timely gesture, and assured that he’s recovering steadily.
Notably, Rt. Hon. Mbabazi gave a lecture of opportunity to the members on patriotism and NRM ideological thinking. He asked Ugandan diasporas to be ideologically clear, and as well, protect & promote Uganda’s image globally.
Additionally, the Global Security Foundation Chairperson told the group to invest back home, as Uganda presents more opportunities to be prosperous, because of the conducive investment ambiance due to prevailing peace. He also urged them to embrace science and technology to change society.
A prominent NRM United Kingdom Chapter member, Mulimira Moses, thanked Rt. Hon. Mbabazi for the meaningful engagement, regarding socio-economic transformation of Ugandan diasporas.
