By Jumah Kakomo

The National Resistance Movement NRM Mobiliser for Rubaga Division in Kampala Majambere Ivan Kamuntu Semakula alias Mpologoma ya Museveni has petitioned President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni over what he has termed as corruption in the State House Anti-Corruption Unit.

In his open letter to President seen by this website, Majambare asserts that corruption has infested the unit to the extent that his life is in danger over his land in Gomba that is being grabbed and the grabbers are allegedly being helped by the unit.

The hand written open letter to president Museveni

“RE: Corruption has infested the Anti- Corruption Unit – State House

I write to put to your attention the unfortunate state of corruption in the above unit you instated to fight a vice that it is instead promoting with impunity.

My appeal refers to a land matter in High court, over land situated in Gomba district where am an interested party as I previously acquired part of it lawfully but myself and other occupants of the land have met very unbecoming behavior, great unprofessionalism from its officers who have taken sides in the land in contest.

A one Mugerwa, an officer of the unit acts like a small god threatening to abduct all interested parties like me with impunity.

I request you, office of the president, DPP, IGG, CID and other offices to investigate this matter immediately.

I am alive now as I write this letter but the officers have made it seem unclear in the subsequent days as I live with threats of death for saying the truth in the above land matter, iam scared you might hear of a scene similar to that of the late ASP Muhammad Kirumira.

I request you to save me in this situation so that justice is served.”
