Why FDC’s big wig endorsed UPC’s Aguti for Dokolo woman MP seat

The LC 1 Chairman of Igar Village who doubles as Forum for Democratic Change FDC Branch Chairperson Mr. Ekuju James has on Saturday endorsed Uganda People’s Congress UPC candidate Sarah Aguti Nyangkori for the Dokolo Woman Member of Parliament in the upcoming by elections.

Ekuju who endorsed UPC’s Aguti over her own FDC candidate Dr. Rosemary Austin Alwoc Ogwal also a daughter to the former legislator, the Late Cecilia Barbara Ogwal said he is doing so to fulfill the late’s will. 

Ekuju said that while she was still alive, the late Cecilia Ogwal openly urged the electorates to vote for UPC’s Sarah Aguti to succeed her since she never disrespected her at any point.

“The late Cecilia Ogwal told us that when she ever retires from politics, we should support Sarah Aguti of UPC who never abused her as a competitor at any point. So Sarah is our Daughter and Sister who stays in Dokolo. We’re sending her to Parliament”, FDC’s Ekuju James

UPC ‘s Aguti team conversing for her election is led by the Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena who vowed not to leave the Constituency until the EC declares the winner.

He also vowed to monitor everything in the Constituency to stop any form of vote rigging.
