Vivo Energy Uganda has officially reopened its Shell Lugogo Service Station in Kampala, following a comprehensive upgrade and expansion of its facilities. The revamped service station, strategically located to serve the growing vehicular traffic, now offers a more convenient and modern customer experience.

The station’s new, state-of-the-art fuel pumps are designed to ease traffic flow, and the orientation of the fuelling lanes has been optimized. This modernization has also resulted in increased parking capacity to accommodate more vehicles.
Alinafe Mkavea, Chief Commercial Officer of Vivo Energy Uganda, highlighted that the upgraded Shell Lugogo station aligns with the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and safety. The station offers Shell’s renowned fuel products, such as Shell V-Power, Shell Fuel Save, lubricants, and Shell Gas, known for their superior quality and performance.

Further improvements include the expansion of the service bay and the addition of a new storey to the main office and Select shop building, which now accommodates financial services and partnerships with popular brands like KFC and Java House. These additions provide customers with more dining choices and a more efficient and pleasant visit.
Joanita Mukasa Menya, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Uganda, emphasized that the reopening of Shell Lugogo highlights the company’s dedication to meeting Uganda’s growing fuel and energy needs, while enhancing service delivery to its customers. Hans Paulsen, Executive Vice President for East Africa at Vivo Energy, reiterated the company’s commitment to improving the quality of life for customers by offering high-quality products and innovative services that make journeys better.
