The University of Kisubi was a hub of color, creativity, and celebration as the School of Arts held its annual fashion show, drawing large crowds of enthusiastic revellers. The event, organized by the university’s arts class, showcased an impressive array of fashion designs created and modeled by students, each piece reflecting originality and cultural flair.

Among the standout talents of the evening, Sister Kaseera Cynthia, a third-year student, emerged as the star of the show. Demonstrating exceptional creativity and craftsmanship, she not only modeled but also designed several of the showcased outfits, ultimately winning the coveted first place title.

Close behind her was Owere Blessing, whose bold and modern interpretations of traditional wear earned her the second spot, while Kuteesa Vincent claimed third place with his minimalist yet elegant designs.

Dr. Mugema Deogratias, the Vice Chancellor of the university, praised the students for their innovation and hands-on approach. “In a rapidly changing world, it’s vital that students embrace practical skills and remain open to diverse ideas,” he said in his closing remarks. “Events like this remind us of the power of creativity and the importance of nurturing talent.”

The evening was not just a competition, but a celebration of culture, imagination, and youthful ambition—leaving the audience eagerly anticipating next year’s edition.
