Angry residents of Kizungu cell, Ntunda sub county in Kyankwanzi district have overpowered police and lynched to death a main suspect in the double murder case of couples on the eve 14th February valentines Day.
The deceased has been identified as Senkula Amon, who was released on bail from prison in mid-December 2025 on Attempted murder of Kamada Karume vide KYZ CRB 104/2026. and Kidnap of Kamwine Esther KYZ CRB 067/2026.

According to Lameck Kigozi, the Wamala police spokesperson, scene of crime officers and investigations kicked off, and clue zeroed on Senkula Aron who had confessed to police of murdering one Sentongo Awali and his wife Ayebare Doreen saying that he wanted money from them but instead, they resorted to fighting him,
He further adds that since he had a panga, he cut the Man several times killing him instantly, he later turned on the woman who was making an alarm and stabbed her in the ribs Which caused her death with her unborn child.
After confessing, Ntunda town council Police headed by Kyankwanzi DPC went with the suspect to recover the exhibit weapon he used in the double murder in forest of Bakulimya village, Ndairinga ward in Ntunda subcounty Kyankwanzi district.
Before the suspect led the police team where he hid the exhibit weapon, he used to kill, irate mob like an angered swarm of bees armed with pangas, sticks, clubs, stones, bricks, spears etc from Ntunda town and its neighbourhood surprised them and overwhelmed them, killing the suspect instantly by lynching and after they all fled the scene after the act of mob action.
“It’s a regrettable incident, our intent as police was to have Senkula Amon prosecuted accordingly for his crimes.
We condemn this act as investigations behind its perpetrators have been launched.” Said Kigozi
