Sudhir Ruparelia Donates Shs50 Million to Iteso Kingdom, Honored with Cultural Title

By Musisi Lwanga

Business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia has announced a Shs50 million contribution to the Iteso Kingdom during the closing ceremony of the three-day Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Eye Camp at Bukedea Teaching Hospital.

In recognition of his philanthropy, the Emorimor of Teso, Paul Sande Emolot, inducted Sudhir and his wife into the Iteso community, bestowing upon him the name “Eminat Sudhir.”

The camp attracted thousands of patients from across Eastern Uganda, offering critical eye care services to underserved communities. A brand-new ambulance was also handed over to the people of Bukedea, donated by Anita Annet Among and Kachumbala County MP-Elect David Beecham Okwere.
