UPC calls for vigilance in the Dokolo Woman MP by elections

Uganda People’s Congress UPC have recommitted to ensure that every vote is counted and protected in the Dokolo District Member of Parliament by elections.

Arach Oyat Sharon, the UPC Spokesperson during a press conference reiterate to the UPC voters to be vigilant and report any form of rigging to them.

“We have identified and trained our agents and observers to guard our votes at any costs.

On a serious note, we call upon all stakeholders; Independent Electoral Commission, Political

Parties, Security agencies, and candidates to desist from any form of election malpractices, Unlawful arrests, violence, ballot staffing among others.” said Oyat

 The Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena earlier warned and assured the people of Dokolo that they are in Dokolo to ensure that their candidate Sarah Aguti Nyangkori wins the by elections.

‘We have come here for serious business to win the Dokolo by-election on Thursday 21 ST March 2024. I can assure you that your vote will be protected. I am not leaving Dokolo until the last vote is cast, counted and declared.  If anyone has any tricks for rigging is going to meet Akena here!.’’. Said Akena

Arach Oyat Sharon also demanded for free, fair and peaceful elections and all members of Dokolo to raise up early tomorrow Thursday, lineup and vote for UPC Candidate  Sarah Aguti Nyangkori as the next District Woman Member of Parliament for Dokolo.

“We assure you that the Victory is ours and every vote will be counted for better service delivery and development of Dokolo district.

Uganda People’s Congress extends great appreciation to the people of Dokolo who showed up at every campaign ground exhibiting overwhelming support for our candidate.” Said Oyat
