Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential flag bearer Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat while campaigning in Rukiga District expressed concern about the poverty in the area.
Amuriat asserted that the several programs like Naads, Wealth creation, prosperity for all, emyoga have been schemes to steal public funds instead of pulling people out of poverty.
He said Museveni’s only achievement is militarization of security agencies that harass and torture people instead of securing them and their property.
On his part, the former four time presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye said the only option to Ugandans are left with is to fight Museveni in mass insurrection because at that point “people will demonstrate that they have had enough of the regime.”

Besigye says the liberation struggle going on is to “regain control of our country and take away from gun men.”
Amuriat visited Rwashameire Village, Kajara County Ntungamo District, yo Kashambya, Rushebeya, Rwamucucu and Kabimbiri on the way to Muhanga Trading centre.
Police tried to block the team from using a playground but people over powered Police and they prevailed. Amuriat was given a bunch of matooke from this matooke growing area
