First ever Boxing event to support girl child talent to happen this month

Nara Promotionz is set to host the first ever charity boxing event in Uganda to support the girl child talent in boxing.

This event which will feature several boxers at both professional and amateur levels by both males and females with aim to support and develop female talent in Uganda will take place at Old Kampala Sports Arena on 28th November 2021.

According to the Nara promotion president Lubowa Babu Hussein the event will feature four amateur and four professional fights with the main one being for ladies.

“All proceeds from this event are to support the girl child to develop their talent and give a hand to the gyms they train from, we shall therefore have to purchase some training kits and other necessary items like sanitary pads to keep them ably training without fear.” Said Babu

“We thank PARAGON BET for taking the initiative to support the event for such a good cause, not forgetting ; UPDF, Old Kampala, Metro FM 90.8,Wardz modeling agency, Pink foods and Good luck promotions.  We therefore call upon each and every individual or company to come up and support this cause.” He added

According to the organizers VIP tables will go for 2m (platinum), 1.5m (Gold) and 1m (silver) Ugandan shillings that come with drinks and eats while individual  tickets for VIP is at 100,000/= and 50,000/= and  ordinary tickets at 20,000

Match making for  28/11/2021 will include;

Professional female fights.

1.Nassali Doreen vs Dianah Atwine 75 kg 3 rds.

2.Nandawula Zahara vs Linda

3.Zawedde Shanitah vs Apio Vivian 3rds.

4.Ndagire Sharua vs Latifah 3 rds

Male fights include

1.Musa Ntege vs Onyango Ignatius cruiser weight 83kg 6 rds.

2.Abdul Ssebute vs IGA Remmy Bantam weight 50kg 6 rds.

3.Ali Sserunkuma vs Serwada Sadam light welter  6rds 66 kg.

4. Kikonyogo Andrew vs Julius Mponge super welter 69 kg 4rds.
