When the Rwandair plane skidded on the runway at Entebbe Airport I read online that it was carrying ushers for the first son’s birthday party!
For lack of what to do I started thinking about the hype about the birthday Party and also thought that when Muhoozi flew to Rwanda he went to carry a personal invite to His Excellency President kagame of Rwanda.
Then I started reflecting and questioning why the first birthday of a first son at 48, then maybe there will be for a first daughter, last son and others?
Then I recalled the tweet about the Cwezi empire, the trip to Kenya, Egypt, the uncles and everything in this Uganda Kingdom.
Then it downed on me to reflect on the extravagance, significance, pomp and magnificence of a birthday party which some are calling to be declared a public holiday of an army commander of a banana republic whose people are in abject poverty, prices are hurting and some nearly have nothing to feed after the double jeopardy of covid and now the Ukraine war.
Then I reckoned why monarchs failed and almost are now extinct because in monarchs you don’t poke your nose in the King’s business.
King Louis XV1 of France was an exciting leader in whose reign the last monarchy in France happened.
In times like these the king and his wife enjoyed the luxury and extravagance the kingdom could provide at the expense of the hurting French people.a
Once, on the lack of bread which was the staple food, the Queen, chided, ‘ if you don’t have bread eat some cakes’.
This angered the French people who in effect started a revolution which ended monarchs and adopted republics which are ‘probably’ and supposedly, should be liable to the people.
If the army commander of a republic can’t be questioned as to where he gets the money to fly Ushers from Rwanda and flies a state airline to deliver an invitation card for a birthday party yet his men are at war, then this is a kingdom not a republic.
Those who continue to clamour for accountability and rule of law you’re misplaced because, ‘Kabaka talabwa Mukamwa’.( The king can’t be questioned)
For accountability, who has ever seen the expenditure of Mengo treasury?
Even when you buy certificates you’re not allowed to tell how much your contribution amounted to.
Those who are clamouring to know who is Vinci coffee and virginia hospital of internal medicine at Naguru land bonanza, those are projects of the kingdom of Uganda and they should remain so.
Mukajanga was the kingdom hatchet man in the 19th century Buganda.
His work was to behead those who disobey the orders of the King and it’s the reason we celebrate Uganda Martyrs.
These people (Martyrs) much as we revere them but in truth were law breakers and insubodinate to the King and his kingdom.
Many were hacked to death and others were burnt alive as you all recall the history.
In the advent of christianity which was an arm of colonialism, monarchs lost ground in Africa. Save for being branded traditional and satanic by colonialist, the genuine African Spirit and mentality remained monarchsts and I believe it’s the divine plan because the Bible has never talked about democracy.
The reason why African leaders behave like Kings and the subjects willingly follow is because it’s natural to us (Africans)and it’s what people love to have.
The son of Kaguta observing keenly the wishes of the people, the undying love for Kings and with his ingenious character is slowly transforming the Uganda republic into a Uganda monarchy and the first King is soon to be inaugurated at a birthday fete on 24th April.
There will be no conflict because Kabaka Mutebi is for Buganda and Muhoozi is for Uganda.
Both have their birthdays celebrated by their subjects and both give no accountability.
Both are life time leaders and both are ‘Nantavumika’.
Both leaders have unreasonable sychompants and like Mwanga can act with impunity.
They’re above censure and reproach as convinced by their subjects.
They both inherit from their fathers and their sons are next in que.
Muhoozi will likely be a King of Kings because he will lead the Greater Uganda Kingdom domain and the small Kings will give allegiance to him.
Eventually it will be Buganda Kingdom in Uganda kingdom
Just thinking.
