By Jumah Kakomo

The NRM Director for Mobilization, Hon Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde has called on the people of Pallisa district to heed the principles of the NRM Party by embracing unity.

“NRM is a mass political organization that is not immune to internal bickering and my camping in Pallisa is coordinating our people to work together to deliver the desired victory, we’re in this together,” Hon Seninde said.

Hon Seninde made the remarks today while addressing Gogonyo County NRM leaders who had gathered at Gogonyo Sub-county headquarters to form a political task force that will steer the forthcoming by-elections in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

Seninde tasked the force with disseminating the message of unity to the masses to deliver victory for the Party Flag-bearer, Hon Derrick Orone. She also pledged technical support to the teams to help smoothen their mobilisation work.

“The Party is ready to support the task force in mobilizing our people to rally behind our flag bearer from the village to the district level since you’re the party ambassadors in this election,” she added.

On his part, the District NRM Chairperson Hon Oule George Omoding rallied the people to maintain peace and work towards developing the newly created Gogonyo County.

The campaign task force is made up of leaders and party mobilizers from the village to the district level whose objective is securing victory for Hon. Derrick Oreno on the 11th of August.

The District will hold its Constituency Conference on the 21st of July to reconcile with all the people and also to anonymously agree to support the party flagbearer.
