KCCA ED Kisaka commences inspection on road remedial works

The Kampala Capital City Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka has this morning commenced with the on spot inspection of the remedial works that has been happening on the city roads by the in house engineering team of KCCA for the last two weeks.

Kampala roads got worse in the last couple of months with potholes due to the heavy rains.

Majority of these roads are expected to be reconstructed starting next month under the project named Kampala City Road rehabilitation Project financed by the African Development bank to a tune of OVER 288 MILLION US dollars.

Symon Kasyate, Kampala Capital City Authority Head of Communications says even though construction of these roads is expected soon, KCCA wanted to carry on some rehabilitations works to allow passage in the meantime.
