Oyam North: I will make sure every vote of UPC candidate is counted- UPC president Akena

Uganda people’s Congress UPC president Jimmy Akena has assured electorates of  Oyam North County that he will jealously protect the party’s candidate Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio votes to that last dot.

Hon. Jimmy Akena who was canvassing for votes for his candidate in the Constituency said that he will make sure every vote cast for Dr. Eunice is counted.

 “I’m here in Oyam until the final vote is cast and I will make sure that every vote that has been cast for my candidate is counted,” UPC President Hon. Jimmy Akena while canvassing for votes for the Party flag bearer Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio on Thursday 29th June 2023 ahead of Oyam North by-election scheduled for 6th July 2023

Akena also revealed that the party is in the process for preparing for the 2026 general elections.

He however, cautioned the supporters that the road to victory is not an easy one and thus they should all be ready to see through together upto the end.

He emphasized that as UPC  they must work together to see the Uganda they want.
