Residents of Lugongo Nakiwogo in Entebbe Municipality are in a great shock after the murder of a renowned couple of Lugongo Nakiwogo in Kiwafu Cell in Division B.
The victims have been identified as Mr Makanga David 69 together his wife Muganga Deborah Florence 62.
According to LC chairperson Zikuliza Paul, the couple has all along been having their vacation in Switzerland and that at this time, they had just come back a few weeks ago.
Sources reveal that the couple were having part time maids and before meeting their death, they had organized a birthday party having invited some neighbours, and at about 6pm after all the neighbours had left plus the maids, Florence made a call to one of the maids alerting her about burglars who had broken into their house.
Unfortunately, before anyone could respond to their rescue, murderers had already killed the couple.
Entebbe police have now embarked on investigations and so far, have taken the bodies to Mulago hospital and also collected information from key persons including the maids and some neighbours.
Its still unclear about the motive behind such a brutal and horrible act on a well known and reputable family.
This incident has raised concerns from Entebbe residents questioning the State of security in the municipality and have called upon police to double its efforts by putting more security patrols in the area.
