Journalists body (UJA) mourns veteran journalist Patrick Luganda

Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) president Mathias Rukundo has eulogized veteran science journalist Patrick Luganda who is said to have succumbed to Covid19.

Rukundo in his official statement described the late as a strong pillar in the media fraternity who shall be dearly missed given his mentor-ship and training skills.

“The late who we have learned succumbed to Covid19 on Wednesday, has been a strong pillar in the media fraternity since he has mentored and trained many journalists.

The media fraternity and country shall surely forever miss him and his services.

May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternity and strengthen the family, media fraternity and friends through the trying moment.” read the statement

Patrick Luganda by the time of death had become a media trainer and chairperson of Network of Climate Journalist in the Greater Horn of Africa.

Luganda lost his mother on Monday but shortly after her burial, he was admitted to Mulago hospital in critical condition were he lost the battle from.

God’s ways are not our ways! Its very sad that the media section has lost a specialist trainer. May God rest his soul in eternal peace
