A total of 400 students out of the 1600 students will miss the 10th muteesa I Royal University graduation ceremony scheduled for Friday 6th January 2023 at Kirumba main campus in Masaka city.
This has been revealed to the press by the chairperson organizing committee of this year’s ceremony Dr.Ronald Kyagulanyi at muteesa I Royal University mengo kakeeka noting that they are to graduate 1200 students but 400 will miss due to various reasons which among others include Retakes, failure to fulfill the required necessities ,tuition among others.
Kyagulanyi says the engagements they have held with those who will miss their graduation have not yielded results hence revealing that those who will miss will graduate in December once they fulfill the requirements.
The graduation ceremony will be held physically to allow gradaunds, parents and guardians to witness success of their children.
The event will start at 8 am and all graduates will be expected at the campus by 7:30 am and the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter mayiga will be the chief guest with other dignitaries.

Meanwhile kyagulanyi revealed that they are having engagements with the National council for Higher Education to ensure that the university receives its charter this month.
He also appealed to government to support private universities to develop themselves.
Rosemary Nakijoba the head of school of social science arts and humanities expressed joy as their university has fought hard to ensure that they fight unemployment to youths since they provide skills that enable their students start their own jobs without looking for them.
