Omusawo Tintah alias Male Deogratius will this Tuesday 10pm host One of Reggae music’s most unusual and fascinating Zimbabwe reggae musician, Advokati I based in South Africa on his Strictly Reggae Dancehall show on Tagy Television.
Advokate I is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/ recording artist who started singing in 2011.

Omusawo Tintah a renowned media advocate, deejay, radio producer and music director on Metro FM through his strictly reggae dancehall show aims at giving vibrancy to the Reggae Dancehall music which he believes is the most sweet, educative and entertaining music.
Advokate I Biography
Advokate I birth name Gabriel Muchanyu is an African recording and performing music artist. Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on the 22nd of May in 1995, he is the last born in a family of five. Raised in Kwekwe after his family relocated to Torwood Redcliff, a small mining town in the Midlands province.
He Did his primary and secondary education at George Hill and Batanai (ZISCO) High school respectively. Passed with flying colours but unfortunately couldn’t further his studies due to financial reasons.
HOW HE STARTED MUSIC
He never thought of becoming a musician one day, it all started in 2011. He has always loved reggae/ dancehall since he was exposed to more of it growing up. The love for doing music developed after watching a group of students performing at his school prize giving day.
He later on found himself searching for rythm tracks/ instrumental beats which were scarce by the time. Wrote his first song using self-knowledge and boom the journey started. Recorded his first demo in 2011-12 using a phone while playing
Advokate I first proper studio experience was at Manix Bros Studios in 2014. Since then he has been involved in various musical activities which saw him sharing the stage with the legendary Zigzag Band of Chigiyo music from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.
His professional music career started in 2020 that was after meeting Don Franco Tafari who helped him on how to establish himself as a professional. That same year he met Rebel Shumba (Don’s producer) who helped with
Branding.
