Senior presidential advisor also Former minister without portfolio Al Hajji Abdul Nadduli has advised Uganda’s opposition on how to achieve peaceful transition of power from the sitting government.

Speaking during the Christmas celebrations at Mamre International Prayer Centre, in Namugongo, Janda, Wakiso district, Al Hajji Nadduli appealed to those seeking for change to approach him and other gruella war veteran in a peaceful way so they can lure the sitting government into dialogue to iron out whatever that is not going right.

”If your seeking for peace come to us, me am available and my other comrades we brought the government in power with, we sit again and iron out our mistakes and disagreements together when we are united But short of that you still have a long way to go” said Nadduli

In the same way the presiding Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox Church in Uganda Jacinto Kibuuka who led the Christmas Divine Liturgy urged the public to be agents of peace and justice.
“If you’re still thinking about tormenting others you are still in darkness. Celebration of Christmas calls us to think about others, giving them peace, justice, freedom, forgiving, reparation, reconciliation, love, consolation, to do charity and be developmental among other Godly acts.”

He also called upon the public to avoid being taken up by fear and discouragement because that will be satan at work but rather advised them to raise and welcome Jesus with Godly acts in their lives. Adding that the greatest wealth and true riches are not found in money and power where many people are dwelling now but rather in good relationship with God and people

Bishop Kibuuka further urged the public to join them at Mamre Prayer Centre in Namugongo Janda on 31st, December where they will welcome the New Year in great healing and deliverance prayers that will unlock the New Year’s blessings and also with fire wax.
