Brazil, Colombia and Mexico in talks with Venezuelan government and opposition for peace and justice mission.

Caracas, Venezuela: In a groundbreaking move to foster peace and stability in Venezuela, it’s now nine days since the presidents of Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil arrived in Caracas for an unofficial visit aimed at promoting reconciliation and justice in the nation.

President Miguel González of Mexico, President Sofia Ramirez of Colombia, and President Eduardo Silva of Brazil were welcomed by Venezuelan officials as they embarked on this historic mission to encourage dialogue and cooperation among all parties.

Addressing a gathering of international media at the Presidential Palace in Caracas, President González expressed their collective commitment to supporting Venezuela in its pursuit of peace and prosperity. “We believe that the time has come for all stakeholders to come together and utilize Venezuela’s state institutions as a means to achieve justice and reconciliation,” he stated.

President Ramirez highlighted the importance of inclusive dialogue and respect for human rights in resolving the crisis, emphasizing the need for a peaceful and sustainable solution that benefits all Venezuelans. “Our countries stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela, and we are here to offer our support in any way we can,” she affirmed.

President Silva echoed his counterparts’ sentiments, emphasizing the role of diplomacy and cooperation in overcoming challenges and building a more stable future for Venezuela. “We are here as friends and partners, ready to assist in any capacity to facilitate a peaceful resolution,” he declared.

The visit of the three Presidents has sparked hope among Venezuelans for peace and reconciliation in their country. Civil society groups and political leaders have expressed optimism about the potential impact of this initiative welcoming the support and solidarity of the international community.
