Kampala woman MP aspirant Sumayiyah Muwonge to spend a night in detention

Democratic Party flag bearer for  Kampala Woman member of parliament Sumayiyah Muwonge is likely to spend a night in detention at Jinja road police station for allegedly flaunting electoral guideline.

Muwonge was arrested on commands of Officer in charge OC  Luzira-kirombe police post In Nakawa Division only identified as Tumusiime  for allegedly campaigning beyond  6pm.

Muwonge was arrested together with Democratic Party Nakawa East MP flag bearer Keeno Charles Ronny Musanyusa while campaigning at kirombe trading centre.

After Muwonge obeyed  Tumusiime’s order of stopping the campaigns and her drive turning back to the DP offices in luzira,Two patrols on Tumusiime’s orders surrounded Sumayiyah’s super custom and shortly whisked her to Kitintale police station before transferring her to jinja road police station where she is still being detained.
